Flux | Baleri Italia
April 2025, Milan, Italy
Flux, a smart shelf designed in collaboration with Baleri Italia and Istituto Marangoni, was produced and exhibited as part of Salone del Mobile 2025. The shelf is designed to sense the mood of the space and respond accordingly, automatically opening or closing sections to reveal either decor or utility elements. In doing so, it subtly shifts the personality of the room, creating an environment that aligns with the activity taking place.

"A seamless system of transformation and adaptability, where form and function evolve in harmony with changing needs"

Moodboard for the project

Flux seamlessly adapts to the activities in your home, transforming spaces with purpose and fluidity.

The shutter rotates and thus opens the side of the shelf that matches the mood of the house, and closes the one that doesn’t.

Individual modules enables the buyer to assemble the shelf as per their design requirements and choice.
Made out of brushed aluminium, the light weight module can be easily assembled by using any home tool kit.
