Timeless pieces are not just bought; they are inherited, lived with, and passed down. Inherited furniture carries more than just material weight; it carries history. The scratches, patina, and softened edges that emerge over time are not flaws but markers of a life well-lived.

Today, furniture is bought to fill a space - not to last a lifetime. Most objects are replaced before they age.
"What if furniture was designed
to be worn into meaning,
not worn out of value?"

A piece that delayers
This design concept does not resist change - it embraces it. Instead of fighting wear and tear, it treats them as part of the evolving aesthetic. Surfaces will subtly transform with use, memories will be etched into the design with every touch

Trace: A table that remembers
The dining table is the heart of the home - a place where generations gather, stories unfold, and rituals repeat. Unlike most furniture, it is touched, leaned on, and lived with every single day, making it a natural witness to time. Designing a table that evolves with wear is a way to materialize memory, turning everyday use into an heirloom of presence.

Aging Process
The table top uses slightly patina brass as it’s primary material. This enables the top to be able to capture the imprints of all that goes on the table top.

Use of wax/natural oils can successfully delay the oxidation process of brass over 5 to 6 years, thus letting the material age but also gracefully and slow.

“Time does not pass in equal halves, some moments linger heavy, others slip light, and together they tip the balance of memory”
